Cugna' is a Piedmontese speciality. It is half way between a jam and a chutney, and is used to accompany all sorts of ingredients, from cheese to cakes as well ad savoury meat dishes. It is made using a wealth of local ingredients, including figs, hazelnuts, grapes, apples, cloves and cinnamon. A must try for the gourmet palate...
